Bishopstone Parish Council meet monthly either at Bishopstone or Hinton Parva village halls Members of the public are always welcome, however, they can have no say once the meeting has begun. A public question time item is added to each agenda to allow any members of the public who wish to do so to converse with, or address the council. Meetings begin at 7:30 and are published at least a week in advance on both village notice boards.
The only exception to the non public participation rule is the Parish Assembly which is a meeting held specifically for members of the public to come and have a voice. This is not a Parish Council meeting and therefore members of the public may participate fully in proceedings.
